 We each hold each other accountable. We try to divide up the work as best and fair as we can. This way the work gets finished as efficiently as possible. If someone finishes their part faster than another person they try to see if they can help. The more we work together the more work that gets done. If we finish then we all get to relax. Today we wrote an introduction paragraph. We also made source introductions. Today I learned how to write a source introduction. Happy last blog post of the year. 

 A challenge we faced was having to choose between each source. All 3 of us found really good sources that covered all the bases. We read through the sources and would decide by trying to come to a resolution. Our way of overcoming was to just talk through it and discuss what we were really looking for. Today we worked on selecting sources. We also wrote them down on paper. Today I learned I am making $7.00 an hour for training shifts. 

 The hardest part has  has been trying to find data/statistic sources. I scoured Galileo but could not find anything. This is difficult because we need this source not only for a grade but also because you always want a data source in your annotated bibliography. Mr Rease helped us find one eventually. This was a big issue because without a data source we didn't have a visual number or graph that would help us to show free speech vs. cancel culture. Today in class we wrote on this paper. We also pulled 7 sources from our group and discussed them.  Today I learned that I don't have to wake up early anymore. 

 Doing all this research makes me understand my topic better. My sources all connect by choosing a side of cancel culture limiting free speech or not. This is helpful because it's given me both sides of the argument.  Today in class I revised my annotated bibliography. I also submitted it. Today I learned who our NHS president is.

 For me the reflection was the most challenging part. For the summary I just remember the key details and summarize them. For the evaluation I just look up the source and see if its reliable or no. But for the reflection, I have to connect it back to my main research question. This is much harder then just remembering key details from each source.  Today in class I listened to music. I worked all day on my annotated bibliography. I learned I average 2.5 points a game in lacrosse.

 It was really difficult for me to find multiple perspectives on my topic. It was hard first because I couldn't find any good sources that conveyed the information I was looking for. This made it difficult because I thought there would be hundreds and thousands of articles about cancel culture. I don't know if this made me think of cancel culture as a complex topic or just one that wasn't talked about sufficiently enough for me to find sources. Today in class we kept working on our research. I got more familiar with Galileo but still facing the same problems. Today I learned I shoot 87 mph in lacrosse.

 I find it harder to use Galileo because it keeps giving me so many sources that aren't helpful to me. I have tried many different research phrases and even change the filters, but it gives me sources about "repairing heart tissue". This doesn't make sense to me because I type cancel culture effects on society. I like Google more because I am so familiar with it. I know if I search something up, Google won't give me random sources. I can scroll down and find blogs and websites ending with .edu and know that it is trusted. Today In class we started working on our research. It was hard because I have never used Galileo before. Today I learned I can shoot 75 with my left hand.

 In the picture, there is a lot going on. The big beautiful bill is crushing uncle Sam. At the same time, an ice agent is walking over ready to beat the already hurt Uncle Sam. Trump is just standing there screaming about how Iran is attacking Israel. This source suggests that Trump is doing nothing to help out Uncle Sam who is like the mascot of the US. The cartooner wants us to think about how trump isn't helping and about how the Big Beautiful Bill is hurting us right now. Today in class we read through writable. I also completed this blog post. Today I learned the transfer maximum of Venmo is $6,500.

Using Key words is a helpful strategy. This strategy will narrow down our speech. Using these key words helps google to find information using the same words and will bring exactly what we were looking for. Making different phrases can help us to see different resources about what we are looking for. This will improve the quality of my research by helping me not waste time on articles that have nothing to do with my research project. Today in class we did a common lit. I forgot to submit it so when I saw it, I submitted it. Today I learned to lock my car at night so no one can steal from it.

 My question is difficult to solve because it uses a "vs" which goes both sides. On one side cancel culture can be over used because someone can take something to seriously when they are words. On the other hand just because its our right to be given free speech doesn't mean we can say things that outrage the public causing distress. Its important to have multiple view points because this is a two sided question. If you only stay to one side then your research will be biased and not represent all truthful information. Today in class we emailed a report to ourselves. We also worked on filling out a step-by-step sheet. Today I learned about Galileo and how to use advanced search.

 In the past I have been more constructed on what to do. I was younger so I was less independent than I am now. Working together is better because people always find different information and when you combine this information you can come to agreements. This helps you to maximize your research efficiency. I feel this research will be more easy than hard because Rory and I work well together especially when it comes to digital work. Today in class we did a Kahoot. We also started on our research. Today I learned that North Atlanta has a lacrosse commit.

 I would rent out a huge yacht that could hold all my friends. I would have it drive us to the Bahamas, Hawaii, Italy, and all over. I would have unlimited food and privet chefs. I would make sure everyone's friends. There would have to be jet skis as well because you can't have fun without jet skis. I would make it be boys and girls and I get to drive the boat some. Today In class I slept. Also didn't go to school today. Today I learned that Cadillac has entered formula 1.

Him wanting complete independence meant that he would never accept help. If he faced something difficult that he didn't know how to do then it would be a road block. His independence also led him to make stupid decisions. He believed he could live alone and not even tell anyone where he was. This means that if something happened to him, there would be no way to know. An example for me is trying to be independent and getting lost when we are on vacation. I thought I knew my way around. When I found a map I was on the complete wrong side of New York. Today in class we skimmed through the book. We also finished the movie. I learned the Artemis II mission is today.

I am a visual learner guy and seeing this movie just made things easier to understand. When I read I can use my imagination but it always wanders. Ill start imagining things to the extreme. Often after reading a book, when I watch the movie, it is terrible for me. I imagine the characters completely different. One example is Percy Jackson. I had imagined Annabeth to be this blond girl resembling someone in my life. The movie version was nothing like I had imagined. Today In class we watched the movie. We also did some questions. Today I learned about fiber optic cables.

 A connection I have like that is with my sister. We have always understood each other because she is so mellow. When I wanted to do anything active I would go with my brother and have fun. But if I wanted to talk and relax I would with Emerson because she was always relaxing. It was nice because it was someone to talk to who wasn't an adult. I like talking to my parents but you cant talk to them the same way you can with your sibling. I can't cuss around my parents and sometimes that's the best way to express the emotion.  Today in class we read chapter 13. We also answered 7 questions about what we read. Today I learned how to solve for equilibriums.

 "reflect on a situation where you felt confident in your abilities. How did that confidence influence your choice or effort?" Throughout my life, I have been driving jet skis. When I got my boat license at 12, the first things I drove was a Boston whaler and a sea Doo. I have always been cocky because I felt I spent so much time on them. Over the summer I decided to go find my brother( who was on the pontoon boat). When I found him I thought it would be a good idea to spray the boat with water. I had no idea how powerful the blast coming out of the back of the jet ski really is. I blew the entire side wall in and some seats were ripped off the nails. I threw 2 of his friends in with the water and soaked the boat. I was over confident and it could have ended more badly. My over confidence made my choose to think I could do this and there would be no consequences. Today in class we talked a lot. I left early to go see Jordan the trainer. Today I learned how painful electro-the...

 To me they seem more reckless because it seems like his parents do care. They seem a little stern but it seems like they are supportive. They go to his graduation and take him out to dinner. His sister seems like she cares a lot. They even ask about college and offer to buy him a new car. He seems upset that they even offered to give him a new car. I understand the motives behind his actions from the book, but if I hadn't read the book then I would think he is a very reckless teen. Today in class we watched some of the movie. We also had to answer these questions on illuminate. Today I learned about brake calipers.

 I started realizing how supportive my parents really were. I was getting to an age where I was aware of peoples relationships with their parents. I could see my friends constantly arguing with their parents. With mine I never would argue but would talk to them. It made me feel like I was being heard. This is different from Alex because his parents kept secrets. With his dad he never felt like he fully connected. Today in class we read some of the books. We also got this really long assignment. Today I learned where to find a U-joint.

 Alex stood out to me the most because he was an adventurous young man. We aren't the same age but we are close and it makes me try to put myself in his shoes. I try to imagine how my parents would react if I had just left college, gave all the money away, and vanished without any supplies. I compare this to my parents and see how fast I would get in trouble. Then I realize I live my own life and they can't control it. The most impact thing for me was just him making the decision to leave. He felt strongly and made his mind fast. This impacts me because I am a very indecisive person and often have to consult with friends to help me choose. Today in class we took a test. We also watched March madness. One thing I learned today was that Chuck Norris died.

At this stage, success reflects good grades and being active. We are trying to learn how the world works and work our way in. We have to apply to colleges. We have to study for at least 1 test a week. We are just getting taught to work with stress because that is what the real world is. This isn't freedom but the only true freedom is in the wild. these days we have to work and pay to live. Today in class we completed a connections work sheet. We also completed an identifying sheet.  Today I learned who Everett Ruoss is.
