Chris and his sister Carine McCandless had a very close relationship, even when he struggled to connect with others. Write about a relationship in your life where you feel truly understood. Explain what makes that relationship strong and how it compares to the connection between Chris and Carine in Into the Wild.

A connection I have like that is with my sister. We have always understood each other because she is so mellow. When I wanted to do anything active I would go with my brother and have fun. But if I wanted to talk and relax I would with Emerson because she was always relaxing. It was nice because it was someone to talk to who wasn't an adult. I like talking to my parents but you cant talk to them the same way you can with your sibling. I can't cuss around my parents and sometimes that's the best way to express the emotion.

Today in class we read chapter 13. We also answered 7 questions about what we read.

Today I learned how to solve for equilibriums.
