Reflect on a time when you paused to appreciate the beauty of nature, much like the speaker in “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” Where were you, what did you notice, and how did that moment of stillness make you feel or change your perspective?

When I was younger and used to hiking in Stone Mountain a lot, I felt super close to nature. I would go with a lot of friends and my whole family. Sometimes we would hike at sunrise, and sometimes we would even do sunsets. I also feel close to nature at the lake. Many times I would take a boat out and just sit near the water and look at the birds flying. It made me feel so peaceful and calm. I love the water. It is my faviorate fact about nature. It changes my perspective because it makes me calm down and appreciate things.

Today in class, we had this big assignment. We worked on it all class.

Today I learned some Mandarin.
