Prompt: Both poems by Robert Frost explore the passage of time and life’s changing moments. Write about a time when something in your life changed more quickly than you expected. How does this experience connect to Frost’s idea that “Nothing gold can stay”?

My life changed more quickly than I expected when one of my closest friends passed away. No one could have expected it, and it really made my life go into a turn. My family changed, my friends changed, and I myself changed as well. This connects to Frost's ideas because this led me to a path I wish I could have gone back on. Like saying goodbye to her. I wish I could've gone back and said goodbye one last time, but I didn't. Could've never have guessed what would happen that night.

Today in class, we read 2 poems. We also completed a worksheet.

Today I learned the fastest way home from Cross Keys.
