In Into the Wild, Christopher McCandless gives up many of his possessions in pursuit of freedom and meaningful experiences. If you had to simplify your life and keep only a few important possessions, what would you keep and why? What would be hardest to leave behind?

 I would keep my phone for safety. I would keep my car for transportation. I would try and keep my bed because everyone needs a good place to sleep. Something that would be really hard to give up would be my avengers blanket. I grew up with it and have a bond I cannot explain. I have gone long times without it but the second I see it I just yearn to feel it.

Today we worked on the writable. I also completed this blog post.

Today I learned about vectoring.

When I was younger and used to hiking in Stone Mountain a lot, I felt super close to nature. I would go with a lot of friends and my whole family. Of today’s 15 vocabulary words, which three do you think you will use the most in your speaking and writing this semester? Explain why each word feels useful or powerful to you.

 I will use aesthetic a good amount because ive already used it multiple times in the past. Im comfortable with that word. I typically call things please and stuff a lot. But since now I really know the definition I feel it will expand my vocabulary. If I start using that word more then people will think I am smarter. I will also use affinity because I feel like I say I love things a lot. Thats not the exact definition of it but it gets my point across. It also makes it seem like i know what I am talking about. I think at last I will use animosity a lot because people wont understand it. I could tell someone I truly dont like that I have a feeling of animosity towards them and they will be clueless. Today in class we worked on these 15 vocabulary words. We also put them to use by choosing which one fits the sentence the best. Today I learned how to calculate radians into degrees.

 The word aserthic means pleasing to the eye or of good style. It's like something appealing to our senses. This word has made my writing better because it has expanded my vocabulary. I use it in texts permanently to improve my writing. I feel like using the word makes my writing look more advanced and professional. Today in class, we worked on vocabulary words. We also completed 3 exercises. Today I learned how to operate a fire extinguisher.
