Prompt: Write about what you are thankful for.

 Im thankful for my car. It helps me get everywhere I need to go. It isnt the fastest thing. It isnt the best in gas. It is amazing though because it has so much room and space. I have used that car everyday for the last year and every day I love it more. I call it Gus(the gas guzzler). The memories from that car are some I am never going to forget. I love my 2007 4runner.


Today in class we did vocab. I also listened to music.

I learned how to speed tie m y shoes today.

 The word aserthic means pleasing to the eye or of good style. It's like something appealing to our senses. This word has made my writing better because it has expanded my vocabulary. I use it in texts permanently to improve my writing. I feel like using the word makes my writing look more advanced and professional. Today in class, we worked on vocabulary words. We also completed 3 exercises. Today I learned how to operate a fire extinguisher.

Prompt: Both poems by Robert Frost explore the passage of time and life’s changing moments. Write about a time when something in your life changed more quickly than you expected. How does this experience connect to Frost’s idea that “Nothing gold can stay”?

 My life changed more quickly than I expected when one of my closest friends passed away. No one could have expected it, and it really made my life go into a turn. My family changed, my friends changed, and I myself changed as well. This connects to Frost's ideas because this led me to a path I wish I could have gone back on. Like saying goodbye to her. I wish I could've gone back and said goodbye one last time, but I didn't. Could've never have guessed what would happen that night. Today in class, we read 2 poems. We also completed a worksheet. Today I learned the fastest way home from Cross Keys.
