It’s Homecoming Week! 🎉 What do you love most about being part of the Lakeside community? How do you show off your school spirit? What is your favorite Homecoming tradition or event?

 I love being a student. I love hanging with friends and just being young. I don't have to pay bills. I don't have to go to work. Yeah, I have to go to school, but it's a little bit different. I love the Friday night feeling free. I show my spirit the most I can. The most outrageous outfits I own, I will wear. I love showing off school spirit because I used it up while I'm still young. My faviorate hoco transition is the football game. Everyone is cheering and screaming, and I love the stimulation. I love just being surrounded by spirit.


Today in class, we did a quiz. I feel pretty good about it, but I feel like I could always do better. 

Today I learned how to change brake lines on a 197 Chevy.

 The word aserthic means pleasing to the eye or of good style. It's like something appealing to our senses. This word has made my writing better because it has expanded my vocabulary. I use it in texts permanently to improve my writing. I feel like using the word makes my writing look more advanced and professional. Today in class, we worked on vocabulary words. We also completed 3 exercises. Today I learned how to operate a fire extinguisher.

 My life changed more quickly than I expected when one of my closest friends passed away. No one could have expected it, and it really made my life go into a turn. My family changed, my friends changed, and I myself changed as well. This connects to Frost's ideas because this led me to a path I wish I could have gone back on. Like saying goodbye to her. I wish I could've gone back and said goodbye one last time, but I didn't. Could've never have guessed what would happen that night. Today in class, we read 2 poems. We also completed a worksheet. Today I learned the fastest way home from Cross Keys.
