Prompt: In “I, Too,” the speaker expresses pride in his identity and his rightful place in America. Reflect on your own life: What aspect of your cultural identity are you most proud of, and why?

I am most proud of being an American. I understand there is a lot wrong with America these days, but I keep my nationalism. I love all of our traditions like July 4th, Veterans Day, St Patrick's Day. I also really love all of the military edits online. I just love America because I have been to other countries. They are nice, but it's not America. The Swiss have these beautiful mountains. Yet the Swiss is so small, and America is so big. I just love how there are so many things in the United States. Like us, going from state to state is like people in Europe go from country to country. Lik, I can go to Florida and not have to bring my passport.

Today in class, we read a poem. We also analyzed the poem together.

Today I learned a new route to Cross Keys.
