Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

We had a trampoline in our backyard that was, fortunately, positioned right next to a small section of our flat roof. My brother and his friends were all older and would climb on top and jump onto the trampoline. I always wanted to do it. My brother would get in trouble, but he would still do it. I started doing it too. It was hard or hurt, but it was very exhilarating. My Dad and Mom told me I can't do it many times. It's probably because if I landed wrong, my head would fling and I would get a concussion. I still did it because I enjoyed the adrenaline. Rush, I even started doing tricks off the roof onto the trampoline.

Today in class, we read this super long story. I also played around on Google Maps.

Today I learned how to tighten my parking brake on my car.
