Write about a truth you were afraid to accept.

We had this choir teacher who had been there for a long, long time. Both my siblings grew up with him, and they were like a mother from another family. I had known her since I could remember writing. She had a daughter in my brother's grade. So when my brother graduated 5 years ahead of me, she told us the news that she was leaving the next fall. I was devastated because I wanted her to guide me through my high school years. I never wanted to accept it, and when I said goodbye for the last time, it didn't feel real. I hadn't seen her for 3 years until this summer. We had a lot to catch up on.

Today in class, we took some notes. We also put paper in each other's hair.

Today I learned how to spray paint the A-frame on a 1971 Chevy square body.
